Appearance Game

When people look
and don't like what they see
they don't really "look"
because they are afraid of me.
Afraid to see,
that we're really the same
they're always playing
this stupid appearance game.
The cover of my book
is not a conformed sight
so they're afraid to turn the page
and see my inner light.
